Dr. Ansari’s brilliant initiative is further supported by the efforts of our co-founder Dr. Atrayee Bhattacharya. Dr. Bhattacharya is a scientist in the Department of Medical Oncology at Harvard Cancer Center specializing in cancer biology. She is a gold medalist in Microbiology from University of North Bengal and qualified CSIR-UGC NET with AIR 51. She received her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the USA and has published her research work in several peer-reviewed journals. She is passionate about bridging the gap between bench to bedside research and thus she envisions mentoring students with a scientific aptitude to grow as accomplished future scientists, oncologists, and science entrepreneurs who can build sustainable healthcare solutions.

Apogee Academy is an initiative of Dr. Shabbir A. Ansari with a vision to deliver world-class quality education to students from all sections of Indian society. He is an alumni of Banaras Hindu University and qualified GATE life science with AIR-17. He is currently a faculty in the Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, USA with a specialization in Cardiovascular biology. He has published several peer-reviewed research articles and has received multiple international awards including from the American Heart Association, American Society of Hematology, National Institute of Health, and many more. With his scientific aptitude and passion for biomedical research, he envisions nurturing budding scientists and medical aspirants to excel and prove their mettle at both the national and international arenas.
